Core priorities of Société Générale Group's Human Ressources policy

At the end of 2008, Société Générale Group had 163,082 employees working in 82 countries. In this increasingly diverse environment which covers a wide variety of activities and employees from different cultural and professional backgrounds, human resources management needs to tackle a number of strategic challenges such as:
  • strengthening the Group’s appeal as an employer, in order to attract new talent and integrate and retain staff;
  • recognizing and encouraging staff diversity and dynamism;
  • keeping pace with the Group’s development and the diversification of its different activities;
  • fostering solidarity by promoting shared values;
  • focusing on the management and personal development of staff;
  • ensuring the successful integration of Rosbank staff in 2008 and the development of the Group's activities in Russia.
