Audit Committees

Audit Committees are attended by the Chief Auditors of each of the Group's business lines or main subsidiaries and their respective hierarchical and functional managers. They play a vital role in internal control.
Meetings are called each year to review the function's structures and activities and, depending on the agenda set by the Head of Group Internal Audit, to address issues such as the assignments carried out over the course of the year, the forthcoming audit plan and the implementation of the General Inspection Department’s recommendations and, where applicable, those of the supervisory authorities and external auditors.
