Accessibility

For Société Générale, accessibility is a means of materializing its CSR policy as widely as possible : its recruitment policy, the adaptation of ATMs and other bank services to our disabled customers, and physical accessibility of our branches for the latter , the inclusion of "ateliers protégés" (associations offering tailored solutions to help the disabled work) in its purchasing policy, the development of the digital accessibility of the Group's different websites and communications tools, etc.
The visually-impaired can now consult this website to find out more about the Group's CSR initiatives in 2008. The menu allows users to choose from three levels of zoom for comfortable reading and improved ergonomics.
The digital accessibility of the Group's websites is based upon the international benchmark, W3C/WAI, defined by World Wide Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee as opening up the web and all of its services to all individuals, whatever their hardware or software, network infrastructure, mother tongue, geographic location or physical or mental aptitude.
