SME Pact
The aim is to assist in promoting the SME Pact which is designed to help innovative French SMEs in penetrating the large corporates market.Société Générale, which was the first bank to sign the SME Pact in December 2007, is committed to supporting innovative SMEs. The Group already devotes close to two-thirds of its purchasing budget to products and services from SMEs1. The role of the Purchasing Department is to identify those innovative companies best placed to work with the Group teams in areas such as information technology, payment means, banking services, dematerialisation, property, HQE, etc. Several meetings were organised in 2008:

Aside from providing other potential avenues to explore, these meetings also resulted in companies being consulted in calls for tender and for contracts.
